An occupational therapist and was assisting a patient to their room after a therapy session. She noticed another resident was standing out of his wheelchair and went to assist him back into his chair. The resident fell while she was assisting him, and his head struck her left leg below her knee causing a fracture to her left tibial bone. She was admitted to the hospital for surgery.
