Final narrative
On July 23, 2025, at approximately 7:20 a.m., an employee was walking to see inmates when they slipped on a towel on the floor. They fell to the floor and landed on their left side, near their ribs. The employee was hospitalized with kidney bleeding on their left side.
An employee was working in a ceiling space to replace an exhaust fan belt. They stepped on sheet rock and fell through the ceiling. The employee sustained a dislocated shoulder and a collarbone fracture.
An employee was trying to stop an aggressive patient that was springing toward a nurse and was pushed into a door frame, suffering head, neck, and elbow injuries.
About 90 minutes after an employee had completed the processing of an inmate he became unresponsive and was hospitalized, apparently due to an exposure to fentanyl.

While rotating the cable drum, the employee reached for the new cable that was to be installed. The grease fitting on the drive shaft caught their fall harness and pulled them underneath the drive shaft. The employee was pinned between the drive shaft and two pieces of angle steel, resulting in a fracture to their left hip.
On October 5, 2025, an employee was pulling a pressure washer hose when it it disconnected from the cooker. The employee was struck by jets of high-pressure water, resulting in lacerations to their left thigh requiring surgery. The employee was hospitalized.
