On July 29, 2025, an employee was operating a jackhammer to remove an old concrete sidewalk. After the work day was complete, the employee was hospitalized with heat-related illness.
Two employees were loading concrete barriers into the bed of a dump truck using an excavator. The injured employee was in the bed of the dump truck when one of the barriers shifted and fell onto his left foot. His left foot was then caught between two barriers and sustained tendon damage.
An employee was operating a forklift loaded with rebar. The front left wheel of the forklift hit a lower/uneven surface, causing the forklift to tip over. As the employee was getting away from the forklift, the fork or the rebar struck him and knocked him to the ground. He suffered a broken right femur, severe bruising of the right arm, and cuts and scratches on the face.
