Final narrative
On August 7, 2025, employees were using forklift forks to move a single-wheel slitter so they could inspect a broken leg on it. While they were sliding the slitter off the forks, it fell, trapping an employee s left ring finger against the concrete. The employee suffered a severe avulsion to the finger, which was then medically amputated at the knuckle.

When the material shifted, the hooks released and the material fell, pinning the employee between the two beams. The employee was hospitalized with soft tissue contusions on their proximal right thigh and interior left thigh.
