An employee (ground hand) for a drilling operation was measuring a recently drilled hole using a tape measure. An operator was moving equipment and bumped a core drilling barrel (drilling tool) that fell over and struck the employee causing a scrape on the elbow and broken toes. The employee was hospitalized.

The employee was pinned between the drive shaft and two pieces of angle steel, resulting in a fracture to their left hip.
