What happened

Employee reports - Patient came out of room 15 screaming cursing and threatening staff members. This author came up to the patient who was in the nurses station threatening [REDACTED]. This author attempted to redirect the patient back in to the room and deescalate the situation. The patient began cursing and yelling and then struck this author in the face with her jaw (and possibly cell phone in right hand). The strike hit this authors left cheek and knocked me to the ground a few feet away landing directly on my right wrist and buttocks.
