Replacing hose on a press

What happened

Employee was replacing the lower ram hose on the press. It appeared that the head of the press was fully extended but when the line was fully removed the press dropped an additional 1 1 2 to 2 inches and his foot was under the bushing housing. This trapped his foot under the housing causing the injury.
