Before the incident

On [REDACTED] at approx [REDACTED] EE was replacing a missing bolt on [REDACTED] After finishing work the EE pulled the safety T handle out of the holder by reaching between two belts When the T handle pin was removed the counterweights caused the drive driven belts to move due to the brake not being engaged EEs left hand got caught on bottom belt and EEs left pinky was pulled into pulley and belt pinch point At this point the belt movement stopped with EEs left pinky stuck between the belt and pulley EE then used the turning bar to reverse the direction of belt travel to free their hand EE sustained a laceration to the left pinky
