Subsequently the athlete reported the pain level as an eight.Actions Taken:1. The athlete promptly reported the incident to their supervisor.2. Safety personnel overhearing the conversation intervened and had the athlete brought to their desk.3. Recognizing the severity of the pain safety arranged for Concentra paperwork to be completed and an Uber to transport the athlete due to concerns about driving.4. The athlete experiencing discomfort was placed in a wheelchair and safely escorted to the waiting Uber.Follow-up:The athlete expressed the intention to seek medical attention at Concentra.
