Repairing a kettle

What happened

[REDACTED] and [REDACTED] were disassembling the kettle agitator while in place in order to perform repairs. The upper shaft extends down into the kettle where it connects to the agitator blades by a locking pin. The pin was removed but the shaft was still stuck on the blades. In order to separate the pieces [REDACTED] had the drive gear locked in place with a pry bar while [REDACTED] tried rotating the agitator. The agitator blades were not moving so [REDACTED] was yanking on them and this caused a loss of pressure on the pry bar so the pry bar slipped and shifted which allowed [REDACTED] 's fingers to strike and be pinched on the edge of the housing.
