Team member was utilizing the rotating feature of a forklift to dump scrap into its appropriate bin When in rotation a hydraulic line on the forklift burst and sprayed fluid all over The team member was hit in the face and torso area with a blast of hydraulic fluid They had fluid covering their face in their eyes and in their mouth The team member called SOC immediately from the number on the back of their safety badge card They then contacted their team leader who notified their group leader Their group leader grabbed another on the way to the scene of the incident By the time the group leads arrived security and emergency services were already on sight Team member was transported by emergency personnel via ambulance to receive medical attention
