Carrier was delivering mail on [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] an unknown male approached and asked for money. Carrier told him no and kept delivering. The male continued to follow the carrier and kept asking for money. The man approached the carrier while his back was turned delivering mail at [REDACTED] and as the carrier turned around was struck in the face by the man. Carrier started tussling with the man to stop him from assaulting. The police were notified arrived and arrested the man.
