What happened

The employee was in the custodial storage area restocking supplies and proceeded to the back of the room and spun around to lean against the work bench while speaking with a co-worker when his right arm impacted a razor floor scraper standing up in a box with the blade exposed lacerating his elbow. The floor scraper was sitting among other cardboard boxes and other supplies and was not noticed. The scrapers are normally kept there but the protective blade cover should have been in place when stored.
