What happened

On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] City Carrier was attempting to deliver mail to [REDACTED] when the customer 's dog attacked the carrier. It bit and latched on to his left leg knocking him to the ground. The carrier hit his head on the ground and the dog then bit and latched on to his right leg. The dog was twisting his head until the owner tackled it off the carrier.
