Before the incident

Removing a sharps container from main men 's restroom.

What happened

On [REDACTED] [REDACTED]&DC Custodian was training and HAZWOPER Specialist on how to replace a sharps container in the main men 's bathroom. While removing the sharps container off the wall needles with caps were falling out of the back side of the containers (were not secured in the container) sticking both employees one on the left hand ring finger and the other on left hand index finger. The container that we were removing was not the original container we used as well it was not locked. This happened at [REDACTED].
