Before the incident

Picking up pallets with forklift.

What happened

On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] PIT Driver picked up a pallet of mail with his forklift backed up turned to the left and drove away. A mail handler moved in to pick up a pallet next to the one PIT driver just moved. As soon as PIT Driver lifted the pallet and started to back up he noticed out of the corner of his eye that he was backing up fast right at the mail handler. The collision led to back and neck strains for the mail handler.
