Before the incident

putting cover plate back on equipment.

What happened

While putting cover plate back. The screw was loose so went to stores to get a different screw. While putting the panel back on the wire touched metal causing the breaker to trip while i was screwing in the panel creating a short I took my gloves off I noticed my finger was black.
