What happened

While on the scissor lift he had his right hand on the top of the scissor lift railing holding a cable. As he was raising the lift he was looking around to make sure that he would not hit his head. He didn 't notice that the rail was close to an overhead beam and smashed his thumb in between the railing and the beam.
