Before the incident

In [REDACTED] Molder had a fracture on their right thumb tip while running a hinge and handle mold on [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] The Team Member was running a 12 X 12 mold The TM hinged the top mold back without issue When TM used their left hand to lift the middle plate that hinges to the left the handle slipped from their hand dropping the middle plate back onto the bottom plate from approximately 8 inches When the plate dropped it caught their right thumb tip in between the middle plate and the bottom plate This caused a fracture to the bone in their right thumb tip
