While cleaning the tendon there was some soft tissue that the employee was having difficulty removing. In an attempt to get a better angle position to remove this extraneous tissue. Employee positioned the scalpel in his left hand (his right hand). While using the scalpel in his left hand his hand slipped and cut his right thumb
