Clearing jam on machine

What happened

While feeding additional stacks of 11 16 x 5 1 2 x 40 boards into the chamfer machine the machine jammed. The employee promptly turned off the machine and began working to clear the jam despite limited space. As she pulled on the board to free the jam it suddenly broke loose causing her right thumb to strike the stack of boards waiting to be fed into the machine
