Hot water from a coffee machine burned the employee 's left wrist thumb and lower arm.

What happened

IW reports that while using one of the resident 's coffee maker (for the resident) she spilled hot water on her left thumb wrist and lower arm. IW reports the burn is located on the palm side of her wrist and arm. IW reports it is very red and the top layer of skin was removed peeling. IW reports severe pain and does not recall her last tetanus immunization.
