Before the incident

lifting a patient from the bed to the stretcher

What happened

I was lifting up a Patient and i was standing in a weird position because the room was oddly shaped and had multiple pieces of furniture in it that the bed and stretcher were at an angle. I went to lift the Patient onto the stretcher and lost grip felt like i was going drop the Patient so i then went to reposition and moved the wrong way and felt a pop in my back that followed by severe pain.
