Before the incident

FRACTURE - Maintenance had previously been working on press 1 and required the linear sliding feed platform ladder to be in the upward position. When the EE arrived to climb up the ladder he attempted to drop the ladder back into the downward position and the ladder rungs from the sliding side pinched his fingers in between stationary rungs. The sliding side dropped down and impacted the top of the EE�s right hand causing a fracture abrasions and contusions
