What happened

Employee was operating the headers and was asked to move over to the stacking side. As he made his way over a pedestal fan was in the way the employee grabbed the top guarded area of the fan as it was running to relocate it. His left hand came in contact with the rotating blades ending with a laceration fracture to the left thumb.
