Before the incident
The employee was trying to remove a plastic bag that was stuck in the shoot.
What happened
EE moved the 55-gallon drum out from under the dust dispenser crouched down and placed his left hand inside the open area where the rotating impeller was still energized and turning. While employee was trying to remove the bag one of the impellers got a hold of his left hand crushing 4 fingers (second third fourth and fifth fingers).
