Before the incident

On [REDACTED] the [REDACTED] (parts washing equipment) was in the process of heating up to operational temperature. During the heating process the affected associate noticed that the chilled water lines on equipment 's distiller were valved off but still connected. At approximately [REDACTED] the associate went to remove the chilled water lines.

Once the connection was removed hot water was released onto the associate 's hands.
