Before the incident

Employee was using air lance to blow debris from under strapper 2. Strapper 2 was running in automatic.

What happened

Employee reached over batten track to remove edge protectors from the track while machine was in auto mode. On the 4th attempt of trying to remove edge protectors his hand became entrapped by the batten placer shoot and batten raceway.
