The employee 's written description is as follows I was walking from the deli and [REDACTED] was exiting the cooler the door come open quickly and the metal handle that sticks out hit my side stomach and pushed up on my rib as I was unable to stop quicker than the door opened. Note anything you observed prior to or during the incident? Nothing out of the ordinary there are just blind spots you can 't see people coming. Potential nondisplaced anterolateral fracture of right tenth rib resulting from being hit by cooler door What conditions influenced the incident? Not being able to see people coming and opening the door fast. What caused the incident? Opening the cooler door fast from the inside without being able to see other people
