What happened

After loading a tote onto the truck trailer the employee parked the forklift on a decline and exited the forklift to adjust the trailer 's stabilizer bar. The employee did not engage the parking brake and the forklift swung towards the employee pinning them between the forklift and the metal edge of the trailer.
