CLEANING CHAIN PADS ON EDGEBANDER

What happened

At approximately [REDACTED] [REDACTED] the associate with one year of service was cleaning the Holzher edgebander in our Custom Machine Dept and while doing so hit part of the machine with their right ring finger The employee received a laceration and a minor bruise The associate was taken to UNC Lenoir Emergency Room for treatment While there an xray revealed that the associate had a fractured right ring finger Sutures were not required for this injury and the associate was given prescription medication making this a recordable injury
