POSITIONING A PATIENT

What happened

MEDICAL STAFF MEMBER CHANGED MIND ABOUT WHAT LEG HOLDER THEY WERE USING ON THE HANA TABLE. WE WERE PLACING THE LEG HOLDER ON THE BED AND I WAS CHECKING THE ALLIGNMENT. IT WAS NOT LINEDUP AND A LEVER HAD TO BE RELEASED. I ASKED THE MEICAL STAFF MEMBER AND THE PEOPLE HELPING TO WAIT A MINUTE BUT THEY SHOVED IT IN AND IT CAUGHT MY FINGER SMASHING IT A PORTION ON MY NINGER TIP WAS LOST AND IT FRACTURED MY FINGER TIP. I REQUIRED STITCHES AND IV ANTIBOTICS
