Before the incident

Around [REDACTED] an IE was waiting at the 2T press. While he was waiting for direction from the blacksmith he took it upon himself to grab a punch and set it on the bottom die with gloves.

What happened

As the IE placed the punch on the die the punch started to fall off and tried to catch it. As a result the punch pinched crashed his left middle fingertip causing bleeding swelling with a laceration on his finger & nail.
