The worker free the blade (tool was off) of band saw using their left hand on the material and trying to maneuver the saw free when the worker accidentally engaged the trigger causing the saw to jump worker immediately let go of the trigger but not before there glove caught pulling it into the blade resulting in a laceration to the left index finger.
