assisting anesthesia with new IV

What happened

In middle of procedure IV infiltrated . Anesthesia requested help with changing tubing after they started new IV. Anesthesia provider using new IV cath supercath and didn 't retract needle. I was stuck with needle at that time. No harm to patient.
