Before the incident

EE was helping unload fruit in receiving and was knocking down fruit with the metal hook instrument to initiate the fruit exiting the trailer. while knocking down the fruit the EE clipped the thumb on his right hand on the metal edge on the inside of the trailer opening an inch long wound. EE immediately informed his supervisor and first aid was immediately administered to the injured digit before being taken to the nearest medical facility for treatment.
