What happened

I was leaving for my lunch break my meal break uh I entered the elevator (on the right as you face the doors) and pressed the button to go down to the parking level. The elevator started to move and suddenly I heard a crashing sound and felt it come to a loud and sudden stop. I felt a shooting pain in my right hip and both knees buckled causing me to fall to the ground. I pressed the emergency call button and a voice responded assuring me that a call would be made to the duty technician. She could not say what time the technician would be there. In my panic I texted both our provider and our nurse to indicate that I was trapped in the elevator and needed some help urgently. After about 15 minutes I heard some activity through the wall panels of the elevator. I again called out for help I was told that the elevator would start working again soon. I eventually heard some movement in the elevator and tried my badge on the badge reader and pressed the P button for the parking level The doo
