What happened

Assume the patient care partner and I stood beside the patient bed and redirected him to push himself up in bed. I have been caring for the patient. He has been trying to get out of bed with his restraints. The patient is alert but confused. I told him to use the foot board to push himself up. He raise his legs and kicked me in my face and called me an asshole. I feel pain and numbness in the left side of my face. Notified House supervisor [REDACTED]
