What happened

I entered room 327 introduced myself while greeting the patient I stated that i will be his cna for tonight until [REDACTED] as i proceeded to do his vitals i asked him if he was familiar with our nozin 's and asked him if he 'd like to do one. the patient agreed I told the patient i would give him the nozin in a moment once his vitals finished and i had saved them. Once the vitals finished and i saved them i proceeded to retrieve the Nozin to opening it and squeeze it to access the with administering the nozin to the patient upon popping it. I felt a pinch in my right ventral surface area of my thumb. The patient realizing my facial expression asked did it cut me throught my glove i replied i think so as i looked down i saw the nosin fluid and blood coming out my thrumb i told him give my one moment ill be back. i told [REDACTED] the nurse what just happend to me and then told her the pastinet was still hooked up to the vital cart machine and i have to go tell [REDACTED] my charge nur
