What happened

moving casting with the crane chains. He was manipulating the chains hooks and swung one of the sections of chain around a section of a casting. He was holding the other chain (pair) hook in his right hand. The loose chain swung around and pinched his right ring finger between the chain hook he was holding and the moving swinging chain hook.
