The EE heard a cry for help to pt room 8948 in the bathroom the pt was attempting to stand and get out of the sara steady. The w c with the foot pedal open was in front of the scene when the EE rushed in to move the w c in to place the pt the EEs R hand thumb was crushed pinned between the w c and the foot pedal. The EE proceeded with the transferring pt into w c further straining the R lower arm elbow.
