Before the incident

Employee cut their left thumb while using a box cutter

What happened

Employee States: Employee states they were using a green box cutter in their right hand and had their left hand on a wine box. When they went to cut the tape seal they cut themselves on the right side of their left thumb close to the nail. Employee started bleeding and went to the bathroom to rinse off thumb. After they went to a first aid kit and used the gauze and band aids to wrap their thumb.
