Before the incident

Client was agitated since before staff took over on their shift. Client was very demanding of drinks and snacks for most of the shift and several times tried to steal food and drink from other clients and staff. Staff is also relief staff.

What happened

client struck the staff in the face with an open hand. This broke the staffs glasses and left scratch marks down the right side of the staffs face.
