What happened

I was documenting vehicle and utility easement. The ground appeared to be wet. When I stepped onto it I slipped and fell on the ice that had not seen. I jammed my ring finger on my right hand when I fell on my side and tried to catch myself. I made sure I could still move my fingers and completed my task. I notified my supervisor upon return to the office.
