What happened

The employee was lifting a roll weighing approximately 40 lbs. when he experienced a popping sensation in the his right groin area. Initial conservative treatment was administered; however due to persistent pain the employee was sent to the clinic for further evaluation. Following the examination the employee was diagnosed with a hernia.
