Before the incident

On the Machine Diamond Wear Machine in [REDACTED] the sled was stuck and the CW EE tried to pry it off with a hammer. The hammer slipped and the nail side of the hammer hit the left palm of the employee causing a laceration. EE was wearing purple nit gloves. CW EE notified their 3M [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] EHS was notified. EHS recommended ERT be called which was declined. CW EE was recommended to notify their CW management and seek medical attention.
