Before the incident

A technician was charging powder raw material through a funnel into a mix tank. The funnel was at shoulder height and they were using a scoop to transfer the powder from fiber drums to the funnel and into the mix tank. They were holding the funnel with the right hand and using the left hand to transfer the powder via the scoop. The technician was performing the charging process for 30 minutes in four separate sessions with pauses between each session. They reported pain in their right wrist and reported to the site nurse and received first aid. They returned to work without restriction.
