Before the incident

I was awaiting delivery when help was asked by the attending to assist the resident in performing a hand from below to elevate the fetal head to assist in delivery of head.

I noticed drape was about to fall back onto the sterile field. I took a few steps forward and tripped on the circulator nurses foot and lost footing. I did not to fall but injured my big toe on my right foot.
