Bag Handling

On [REDACTED] around [REDACTED] EE was working inbound [REDACTED] flight. During that time the agent was assisting with offloading the cargo from the aircraft. The EE stated that there was a very heavy cargo PMC pallet (fish shipment) that was being offloaded from the [REDACTED] onto the [REDACTED] transporter. The EE tried to use the momentum of the PMC coming off the [REDACTED] rollers by pulling it on the [REDACTED]. Once the EE grabbed the nets on the shipment and began pulling it he immediately felt a strain in his whole lower back. The agent attempted to work through the pain and worked the outbound [REDACTED]. EE stated that the pain got worse as he was trying to push the ULDs onto the [REDACTED] for the outbound flight. RICE was implemented.
