What happened

The employee was holding the leaf spring down with their left hand so that it would not fall off of the axle. At the same time they were attempting to place the [REDACTED]Bolt saddle on the leaf spring when the saddle slipped from their right hand and fell on top of the leaf spring. The employee had their hand wrapped around the spring with their thumb resting on top. This resulted in the [REDACTED] saddle pinching the employee 's thumb.
